Wrap Pants

Pants that look like a skirt? What more could a woman want? Designed to originally to help me understand the Gerber software and the challenge of online patterning, They have since become my favorite pants I own.

Inspiration

To learn how to pattern on Gerber, I was tasked with creating pants. I did not want to pattern a normal plain pair so I found some pants that inspired to me.

Illistration

My Illustration of what I wanted the wrap pants to look like. If I were to create this project again I would add the pleats on both sides.

Patterns

I was able to design these pants on Gerber. I started with patterning a skirt to understand how I wanted the flair to look. These are the printed paper patterns. These are the largest pattens I have ever created.

Final Project

I love how these pants turned out. In hindsight a different fabric pattern would make the pleats the focal point of the pants. Overall I love them and wear them constantly.
